30.04.2024 Matthew Lennard participated in 2024 Space Weather Workshop, April 15-19, 2024 in Boulder, CO, USA and presented his work on "Understanding Plasma Flows in Solar Active Regions: a neural network based method for the recovery and analysis of coherent plasma structures in magnetically dominated environments". He also hiked to 2 km elevation in the Colorado Mountains! Well done Matt!

21.03.2024 Matthew Lennard presented an excellent talk “Throwing Computers at the Sun: Understanding Space Weather Using Data” at the Tapton Science Seminars. This was a fabulous opportunity to share and educate students, in years 12 and 13, on the Sun and it’s influence on space weather, and what research we do in Sheffield in the way of understanding complex solar events. It was great to see local students turning up and asking enthusiastic questions about the subject.
